Dan Beem
President

Dan Beem offers Kahala over 20 years of experience in the food and franchise arena. As Cold Stone Creamery's president, Dan oversees every aspect of the Cold Stone brand, from operations to marketing to strategic alliances. Dan works closely with all departments and the brand's franchisees on a daily basis, which he finds to be the best aspect of being part of the innovative ice cream concept. With his strong leadership skills and passion for success, Dan oversees the international team and guides them towards generating recognition of the 12 Kahala brands worldwide. The international team has a unified vision of introducing more Kahala brands to potential franchisees across the globe.

Dan joined Cold Stone Creamery in 2003 as the Vice President of Profitability before being named President in 2007. Dan brought with him a significant amount of experience in the food-service industry and offers insight to strategic planning and franchisee relations. Prior to Cold Stone, Dan owned and operated his own restaurant for two years, as well as worked in executive and management positions with several esteemed companies, including Planet Hollywood, TGI Fridays, Gordon Biersch Brewing Company and NASCAR.

In 2008, Dan was elected to serve on the governing board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America®, Cold Stone Creamery's national philanthropic partner.

Dan's commitment to the franchisees to increase sales and improve profitability helps the continuous growth and success of Cold Stone Creamery in the U.S. and the Kahala brands abroad.
